Our Story

Odia livelihoods and the Odisha market, kept in the same place.

Most “Odisha” shelves online are a mix of lookalikes. The weave is right, the story is missing, and the payment goes somewhere else. Baazar Odisha started as a correction to that.

We began with four districts we could actually reach: Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, and Nayagarh. Makers there already had buyers at local markets. What they did not have was a simple way for someone in another town to order, pay on delivery, and know the parcel would arrive.

The store is one catalogue. There are no separate seller accounts. If a product is on the site, we stand behind the price, the photo, and the handover.

    Meet the maker

We sit with the workshop or farm, agree a price, and write down what the piece actually is.

  2. 02

    Put it on one shelf

The product is photographed, stocked, and listed in English with a district attached.

  3. 03

    Send it home

You order with a name, mobile, address, and PIN. We pack it in Odisha and collect cash on delivery.

Cloth from Odisha looms is listed with the district it comes from, not as a nameless “ethnic” product.
